One question, Ms. Fahimi: Does the union still stand by press freedom?

“Everyone” is there, not “every independent journalist” – a designation that is in many cases a fiction anyway. Because the question is allowed: Are media independent, which is financed by large companies (advertising market 2025: 35 billion euros), sponsored by billionaires (Bill Gates’ millions to the SPIEGEL), or even directly subsidized by the government (220 million first planned, then failed)?
